Mrs. Mary Lois Blackburn Hall, 87, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002 in a local nursing facility. She was a native of Butler County and had been a resident of Escambia County since 1955. She owned and operated Mojo Service Station for a number of years. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by four sons, Joseph C. Blackburn, Robert E. Blackburn, both of Brewton, William C. Blackburn of Killeen, Texas and Leonard M. Blackburn of Pace, Fla.; one daughter, Mary C. Ellis of Brewton; two brothers, Cranford Sims and Edward Sims, both of Greenville; one sister, Ruth Hawkins of Mobile; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 18, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Craver's Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 19, at Fort Crawford Cemetery with Seventy Wayne Ellis officiating and Craver's Funeral Home directing.
