Mrs. Jessie Stuckey White, 89, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003 in Port St. Joe, Fla. She was a native and long-time resident of Brewton and had been living in Port St. Joe since 2000. She was an Avon representative for 37 years and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.T. White and a son, William Windol White.
She is survived by three daughters, Gloria Smith of Navarre, Fla., Jean Lester of Port St. Joe and Jo Ann Purvis of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Hayward Stuckey of Pensacola and Joe Stuckey of Spanish Fort; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Minister Richard Rogers officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Randall Pugh, Todd Williamson, Kelly Cotton, Spencer Williamson, Josh Pugh and Gordon Anderson. Honorary pallbearers were Logan Williamson and Cody Anderson.
