A Brewton man was killed and a female injured last week after the vehicle they were in left the road near Castleberry.
Billy Glenn Conti, 37, of Tanglewood Road was pronounced dead from the injuries he sustained in the accident which occurred on Conecuh County Road 49.
A passenger, Amy Jensen, 24, of Brewton was injured in the accident. The extent of her injuries could not be confirmed.
Conti was driving his 1987 Pontiac when it left the roadway at approximately 11:30 p.m. last Thursday.
Alabama State Trooper Ed Bennett is the investigating officer.
