Mr. Eddie R. Wiggins, 55, died Sunday, March 23, 2003 at a local hospital. He was a native of Byrneville and had lived in Jay for a number of years before returning to Byrneville. He was preceded in death by his father, Rufus Clayton Wiggins; a sister Evelyn Wiggins and two brothers, James Wiggins and Robert Wiggins.
He is survived by his mother, Dora Wiggins of Byrneville; two sons, Clayton Wiggins of Milton and William Wiggins of Jay; two brothers, Rev. R.C. Wiggins and Randal Wiggins, both of Byrneville; a sister, Alice Ruth Raines of Evergreen and a granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 25, at 10 a.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Christ Hawkins officiating. Burial followed at Beulah Cemetery with Eastside Chapel directing. Pallbearers were Miron Wade Raines, Anthony Cody, Cleve Morgan, Eddie Hall and Randy Roberts.
