Mrs. Eva Mae Johns Barron died died Friday, March 21, 2003 in a local hospital. She was a native of Brewton, AL and resident of Mobile. She was a member of Forest Park Bible Church and a member of The Order of the Eastern Star for 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Barron, and grandson, Matthew Maranda.
She is survived by her son, Tom Barron of Mobile; a daughter, Gloria Maranda of Caddo Mills, Texas; a brother, Samuel Johns of Brewton; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, March 24, at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home. Burial followed at Pine Crest Cemetery with Pine Crest Funeral Home directing.
