Mrs. Doris Jean Mosley, 54, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at a Mobile hospital. She was a native of Cantonment, Fla. and a resident of Atmore for many years. She was a member of Second Mt. Triumph Baptist Church, where she was very active, and a retired seamstress with Vanity Fair with over 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Deese.
She is survived by her husband, Willie Arthur Mosley of Atmore; one daughter, Marci Beckham of Atmore; four sons, Derrick Mosley of Detroit, Mich., Donavan Mosley, Damien Mosley and Herman Mosley, all of Atmore; her mother, Bessie Deese of Atmore; two sisters, Mattie Scott of Connecticut and Brenda Brewster of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Alvin Deese of Albany, N.Y. and Calvin Deese of Atmore and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, March 31, at 11 a.m. at Second Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Atmore with Rev. Joe L. Hayes officiating. Burial followed at Stallworth Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
