Woodrow Taylor

Mr. Woodrow Taylor, 87, died Thursday, April 24, 2003 in a Pensacola hospital. He was a native of Evergreen and a long-time resident of East Brewton before moving to Pensacola four years ago. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the U.S. Army. He was retired from Container Corporation and was a member of the First Baptist Church of East Brewton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Taylor.
He is survived by a son, Douglas Harland Taylor of Lompoc, Calif.; a daughter, Louise Lockett of Pensacola; one brother, Herston Taylor of Pensacola; three sisters, Bessie Middleton and Jeanette Stoshak, both of Brewton and Gwen Mintz of North Carolina; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 28, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home. Private burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
