Mr. Bennie Noah White, 78, died Tuesday, May 13, 2003 in a local hospital. He was a native and life long resident of the Flomaton area. He was the owner/operator of White's Pallets, Inc. in Flomaton for many years. He was a member of the Pineview Pentecostal Holiness Church and the U.S. Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by a son, Bennie White Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Johnnie White of Flomaton; a brother, Sammy White of Waxahachie,Texas; five sisters, Dorothy Allen of Waxahachie, Voncille Bethea and Margaret Stuckey, both of Century, Fla., Mildred Stallworth of Cantonment and Lola Weaver of Flomaton; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 14, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Flomaton Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 15, at 10 a.m. at Flomaton Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Homer Stewart and Rev. Leon Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Flomaton Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Wayne Lisenby, Tommy Pettis, David Baggett, Charlie Butler, Miller Stallworth and Mack Weaver. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Tingen, Marvin Holt, Robert Holt, Gene Maness, Quinn Miller, Toby Boutwell, Jerry Bell and Daryl Fore.
