Mr. Bobby Joe Anthony, 67, died Sunday, May 18, 2003 in a Pensacola hospital after an extended illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Escambia County. He was a member of North Brewton Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Jefferson Smurfit Corporation with 38 years service.
He is survived by Geri Palmer Anthony of Brewton; two sons, Wade Anthony of Brewton and Terry Anthony of Pace, Fla.; one brother, Dorman Anthony of Brewton; two sisters, Ouida Bowman of Cantonment, Fla. and Maxine Morgan of Milton, Fla. and one granddaughter.
Graveside funeral services were Tuesday, May 20, at 10 a.m. at Union Cemetery with Rev. Michael King officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
