Mrs. Ethel E. Marshall, 88, died Sunday, May 18, 2003 in a Fairhope nursing facility. She was a native of Canoe and a resident of Atmore since 1947. She was a member of Brook's Memorial Baptist Church and of Clayton Chapter 306, Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Marshall; a daughter, Helen Bailey; three sisters, Voncile Etheridge, Rosa White and Alvie Morris; two brothers, William E. Etheridge and Horace Etheridge and a grandson, Philip Marshall.
She is survived by her son, John L. Marshall of Cantonment, Fla.; a daughter, Patsy B. Peacock of Fairhope; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 21, at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with visitation beginning at noon and Brother Mike Grindel officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
