Thank you so much for your wonderful coverage of Celebrate the Environment Day at Turtle Point on May 10! We also want to thank our many sponsors and volunteers for the many services and financial support they provided to make this event possible. We were able to reach over 1,100 at this event alone, and by the end of May, we will have had the opportunity to reach over 6,000 visitors, students, teachers and other citizens with the environmental science educational message this school year.
I would also like to thank my staff, our superintendent of education, board of education, and the Turtle Point Science Center Advisory and Foundation Board members for their commitment to this project, and their vision of what this project means to our county and southwest Alabama.
