Mrs. Nannie Delores Mosely Davis, 86, died Friday, May 30, 2003. She was a native of McLellan, Fla. and a resident of Brewton for many years. She attended school at Southern Normal School and was a member of Baptist Hill Church where she participated in many church activities. She was also very active in the Evergreen District Association and was a member of Lilly Chapter 592 Order of Eastern Star. She had worked with the RSVP, at the creosote plant, Citizens Farmers and Merchants Bank, Brewton Public Library and Southern Normal School. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Davis and several siblings.
She is survived by two sons, Johnny Davis of Brewton and Robert E. Davis of Mobile; one sister, Nancy McPhearson of Pensacola; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 1, at 3 p.m. at Baptist Hill Baptist Church with Rev. S.C. Tucker officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
