Mrs. Irene Loretta Parmentier, 87, died Saturday, May 31, 2003 in a local hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Attleboro, Mass. and a resident of Escambia County for 30 years. She attended St. Maurice Catholic Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Parmentier.
She is survived by Gloria Vaudrain of North Providence, R.I.; a sister-in-law, Jeannette Tague of Flomaton; a special nephew, Bill Tague of Flomaton and 18 other nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass was held Friday, June 6, at 10 a.m. at St. Maurice Catholic Church with Father Adrian Cook officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
