Community Action of Baldwin, Escambia, Clarke, Monroe and Conecuh Counties is soliciting bids for weatherization work and materials for any one county individually or all five counties collectively. Sealed bids must be addressed to Purchasing Personnel and received in the Central Office, 1615 6th Street, P.O. box 250, Daphne, AL 36526 no later than 11:00 A.M. on Monday July 28, 2003, at which time they will be opened and evaluated. The words “Sealed Bid” must appear on the front of the envelope of all bids received. Contractor must have had previous experience with weatherizing homes, must be willing to provide proof of experience and willing to receive manual training for the Weatherization Program and furnish own tools and transportation. Must have ability to purchase material and incurred expenses for a minimum of 30 days. A bid bond is required for a contract expected to exceed $10,000. Contract award will be made as soon as possible after bid opening. Liability insurance and Worker’s Compensation insurance is required. We reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids. Notice is hereby given that J and L Home Enterprises and Martin Construction has completed the contract with Poarch Creek Indians for contract No. 01-IT0118570 Project 15 which consisted of 11 homes.
Any claims held against same shall be itemized, notarized and presented to Poarch Creek Housing Department at its offices or same will be barred.
