Mrs. Mary Lucile Parham, 83, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003 in Century, Fla. She was a native of Repton and a resident of Christian Home since 1942. She attended Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John D. "Jack" Parham; two sons, Malcolm Parham and Dallon Parham and a granddaughter, Eva Mae Parham.
She is survived by three sons, Dillon Parham of Nunnelly, Tenn., Marvin Parham of Webster, Fla. and Rickie Parham of Christian Home; two daughters, Thelma Wiggins of Byrneville, Fla. and Shelia Ward of Christian Home; a brother, Johnnie Burkett of Cantonment, Fla.; two sisters, Minnie Holland and Estelle Thortis, both of Christian Home; 13 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 12, at 10 a.m. at the Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. James Dillon Parham and Rev. John Shamblin officiating. Burial followed at Christian Home Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Kenneth Parham, James Parham, Steve Parham, Joel Parham, Jason Parham, Ross Parham, Jeremy Ward, Stephen Lee Jackson and Lavon Parham. Honorary pallbearers were Harley Dockens, Sonny McLain, George Long, Clark Caraway, Raymond Kimmons and F.L. Dockens.
