Mrs. Alberta Jones McWilliams died Monday, June 29, 2003. She was a native of Conecuh County and a resident of Escambia County. She was an LPN and a member of New Life Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Evelyn Matthews, Edna Jones, Mabel Jones and Loretta Parks and two brothers, Willie D. Williams and Fred Jones.
She is survived by her seven children, Elder Robert J. McWilliams, Regena Jenkins, Kathy Farrish, Janice Jones and Gerald McWilliams, all of Brewton; Kenneth McWilliams of Jersey City, N.J. and Eric McWilliams of Sacramento, Calif.; three sisters, Maudell Burson and Sally Outing, both of Pensacola and Ann Donald of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 3, at 2:30 p.m. at New Life Holiness Church with Elder Robert J. McWilliams officiating. Burial followed at Springhill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
