The Escambia County Public Health Dept. has issued the health scores of the restaurants in Brewton, East Brewton, Atmore and Flomaton for the period running from April 1 to July 14, 2003.
Restaurants scoring greater than an 85 on inspection remain on the Health Department's regular, quarterly inspection cycle. Restaurants scoring 70-85 will receive a follow up inspection within 30 days of the original.
Restaurants scoring 60-69 will be inspected again within 48 hours and those scoring below 60 will be shut down immediately, according to Health Dept. officials.
