Lisa Tindell has been named managing editor of The Brewton Standard according to publisher Bill Crist.
Tindell worked in news reporting previously at The Atmore Advance, Alabama Living magazine, WYDH-FM radio and as communications specialist at Southern Pine Electric Cooperative.
Tindell says she is excited about her assignment in the position.
Tindell is a 1979 graduate of W.S. Neal High School in East Brewton. She attended Jefferson Davis Junior College and Auburn University. She is a member of Cornerstone Community Church.
She is married to Larry Tindell. They have one son, four-year-old Landon.
