Mr. Edward Glenn Settle, 47, died suddenly Friday, July 25, 2003. He was a native of Jay, Fla. and a resident of Pensacola. He was a 1991 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Engineering and had previously worked for Manugistics in Rockford, Md. as Director of Global Alliances. He later started his own business, Smarter Course, Inc. to market educational software. He was a sailor and restored an old home. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Carrol J. Settle and Thelma D. Settle of Jay and a brother, Alton R. Settle.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Settle of Pensacola; two brothers, Robert Settle and Mickey G. Settle, both of Milton, Fla. and two sisters, Hilda Cox and Nelda Mishoe, both of Milton.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 28, at 10 a..m. at Jay Funeral Home with Mitch Mishoe officiating. Burial followed at Jay Cemetery with Jay Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Joshua Settle, Gary Settle, David Settle, Raymond Wayne Settle, Mitch Mishoe and John Stamatelos.
