Dear Editor,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the city of Brewton, Mayor Jennings, and each of Brewton's city council members for honoring my father, Hank Locklin, with signs posted at each of Brewton's city limits. This was an extremely thoughtful gesture on the part of the city. Brewton can be sure that Hank Locklin is proud to be a resident. I would also like to send out a special thanks to Hugh Ellington for his part in the event. Hugh is not only a dear friend, but a true Brewton icon. We think the world of him. Brewton has played a very special part in my growing up, so it is with great pride I write this letter on behalf of my father.
