Escambia County Sheriff's deputies responded to a drowning call at Little River State Park on Sunday evening.
Antonio Lashawn Clark, 24 of Thomasville was pronounced dead shortly after 8 p.m. at Atmore Community Hospital.
According a news release from the Sheriff's office, witnesses say the victim jumped off the diving board around the camp area and did not surface immediately. Within minutes, employees of Little River State Park were notified. The Sheriff's office received the call at 7:18 p.m.
