Mrs. Ruby Baker Flowers, 88, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003 in Atmore. She was a native of Walnut Hill, Fla. and spent most of her life there. She attended the New Life Fellowship Assembly of God Church and was preceded in death by her husbands, Marion "Pud" Baker Jr. and E.D. Flowers.
She is survived by two sons, Jerril N. Baker of Atmore and Rev. Father Milledge Baker of Walnut Hill; a daughter, Fran Herndon of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 25, at 10 a.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Bush officiating. Burial followed at Walnut Hill Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Anthony Lamb, Carlos Albritton, Edward Albritton, Jeffery Godwin, Bo Lehmann and Kavanah Hare.
