Mrs. Shirley Sims, 67, died Thursday, July 24, 2003 at her residence. She was a native of Michigan and a resident of Castleberry.
She is survived by a son, James Sims of Evergreen; four daughters, Mary Hamby, Alice Cooper and Patricia Zellers, all of Castleberry and Bonnie Keefe of Brewton; four brothers, Ronald Seaney of Andalusia, Jim Seaney and Paul Seaney, both of Michigan and Donald Seaney of Texas; one sister, Laura Grimard of Michigan; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three step-children; eight step-brothers and sisters and one special sister-in-law.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 28, 2003 at 10 a.m. at Chapel of Cope Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Gentry officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Creek Cemetery with Cope Funeral Home directing.
