Crook, Miller to exchange vows

Mr. and Mrs. James W. Crook III of Atmore announce the engagement of their daughter, Carey Leigh, to Jamie Edward Miller, of Alexandria, Va., son of Mr. and Mrs. James Clifford Miller of Phoenix, Arizona.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Ivey Edwards of Brewton and Mrs. James Wheeler Crook, Jr. and the late Mr. Crook of Atmore. She attended Escambia Academy in Atmore and graduated cum laude from Birmingham-Southern College with double majors in math and English. She is a senior consultant with BearingPoint in Arlington, Va.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. Edward Kiel of Dagsboro, Delaware and the late Ms. Kiel, and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Miller of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey. He graduated from Barrington High School in Barrington, Ill. and graduated cum laude from American University in Washington, D.C. with a degree in International Studies. He received his Masters of International Management from Thunderbird University in Phoenix, Ariz. He is presently employed with Booz Allen Hamilton in Falls Church, Va. where he is a senior consultant.
The wedding is planned for October 4 at the Atmore First United Methodist Church.
