Mrs. Claire Strain O'Neal, 89, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003 at her residence. She was a native of Brewton and a resident of Lisman.
She is survived by one daughter, Caroline F. O'Neal of Montgomery; three sons, Robert H. O'Neal and Gordon K. O'Neal, both of Lisman and Stephen F. O'Neal of Columbus, Ga.; a brother, Ben Kelly Strain of Brewton; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Marshall P. Craver III officiating and Craver's Funeral Home directing. Memorials made be made to the Choctaw County Library of the American Cancer Society.
