Mr. Williams Roscoe Langford, 84, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003 in Atmore. He was a native of Castleberry and a resident of Atmore since 1987. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Atmore. He was a member of the U.S. Army and served in World War II and during the Korean War winning numerous awards and medals. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Bell Langford.
He is survived by two brothers, Norman Langford of Brewton and Colton Langford of Atmore; two sisters, Mabel Land of Cairo, Ga. and Dorothy Prince of Jackson, Tenn. and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 17, at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Colton Langford and Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens in Milton, Fla. with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
