Mrs. Marie Gibson Miller, 39, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003 at a local hospital after an extended illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County, Ala. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Carter of East Brewton; her step-father, Mack Carter of East Brewton; two step-daughters, Aimee Miller and Michelle Miller, both of Brewton; two brothers, Johnny Gibson and Kenneth Wade Gibson, both of East Brewton; one sister, Mary Ellen Brooks of East Brewton; a Godchild, Colby Chase Jandran; nieces; nephews and a care giver, Samantha Hadley.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 16, at 2 p.m. at The Lighthouse Christian Center with Rev.Donald Ray Biggs and Rev. Doug Greer officiating. Burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
