Mrs. Iris Elizabeth Kraker Hendrix, 84, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2003 in a local hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Brooklyn and a life-long resident of East Brewton. She was a member of East Brewton First Baptist Church, retired plant manager's secretary from South Central Bell with 38 years service, member of The Telephone Pioneers, The Eastern Star #442 and American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by a brother, Vernon Kraker of Montgomery seven nieces, one nephew and other family and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 11 a.m. at East Brewton First Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Brister officiating. Burial will follow at Brooklyn Baptist Church Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
