Teamwork.
There's nothing like it. With the onset of fall and football we are more keenly reminded of the need for it. As a result of team effort, our Red Cross Community Blood Drive was a success.
We are indebted to all those who contributed in various ways to make it happen. Many helped. Our thanks to The Brewton Standard, WEBJ and our business community friends for the full newspaper ad, Woodmen of the World for sponsoring the Community Center, our wonderful volunteers and, most importantly, the super donors.
What a wonderful feeling to know that people are alive today because our team got in the game. Together we can save a life.
