Mrs. Cora Grace Peavy Thompson, 87, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003 at a Pensacola, Fla. health care facility after an extended illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County, Ala. and was a retired cosmetic sales agent. She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by a son, Clifford Thompson of Brewton and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 20, at 10:30 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Lane and Dr. John Dickinson officiating. Burial followed at Spear Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
