Mrs. Carrie Louise Hale, 74, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003 at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Escambia County and former resident of Mobile before moving back to Brewton in 1997. She was a member of Pleasant Home Holiness Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur David Hale of Brewton; two sons, Roy D. Hale of Greenville and James H. Hale of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Cheryl Hale Robinson of Jersey, Ga.; three brothers, Eugene Byrd of Fallon, Nev., Robert Byrd of Mobile and Thomas Byrd of Brewton; two sisters, Doris Byrd Odom of Fallon, Nev. and Callie M. Byrd Lee of Brewton; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Home Holiness Church with Rev. Jim Parkerson and Rev. J.C. Robinson officiating. Burial followed at Pleasant Home Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
