Castleberry
Mr. Richard Thomas Holland Jr., 83, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003 at a local hospital. He was a native and life-long resident of Castleberry. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army. He owned and operated The Castleberry Telephone Company for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Holland of Castleberry; three sons, Tommy Holland of Baton Rouge, La., James Holland and Homer Holland, both of Castleberry; one sister, Lillian Salter of Castleberry and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 11 a.m. at the Castleberry Methodist Church with Rev. Milton Price officiating. Burial will follow at Buffington Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
