Mr. Leroy Deere Jr., 61, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003 at his residence in Brewton. He was a native of Mobile and lived most of his life in the Brewton area. He was of the Holiness faith and was preceded in death by a sister, Laurinda Deere.
He is survived by his wife, Broncile Paul Deere of Brewton; three daughters, Rhonda Paul and Nathaniel Williams of Tuscaloosa, Shaundra Latece Deere of Brewton and Brandi Natasha Deere of Orlando, Fla.; one brother, Thomas Deere of Montgomery; five sisters, Mary Watson of Brewton, Rozell Deere of Montgomery, Vanessa Buckner of Montgomery, Barbara Deere of Jacksonville, Fla. and Mattie Deere of Newark, N.J. and seven grandchildren, Jamilla Deere, Na Kresha Godvolt, Rae Kwon Odom, April Williams, Jervon Williams, Jordan Williams and Akeem Green.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. at the Spiritual True Holiness Church of God with Rev. John Deere officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
