It's great to see The Brewton Standard covering sports activities in an expanded fashion.
Without sounding too critical of past sports writers, Mr. Bruce Hixon has brought to The Standard a refreshing and informative writing style. Although he has not been here very long, Bruce is doing a superb job and is giving all sports in Brewton coverage.
He seems to really enjoy his work and his sports coverage is so expansive it provides many insights. Not since Jason Thompson left another area paper several years ago have I seen all sports given the attention they deserve.
Keep up the good work and welcome to Brewton.
