Mr. Samuel Lassic, 83, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003 at an Atmore hospital. He was a native of Lowndes County and a resident of Atmore for many years. He worked as a laborer in the refrigeration/air condition business and served in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gustova Allan Lassic.
He is survived by a son, Michael Lassic of Detroit, Mich. and two grandsons.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 11 a.m. at Turner Funeral Chapel with Bishop Willie L. Williams officiating. Burial followed at Stallworth Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
