Mrs. Helen Delores Franco Williamson, 74, died Thursday, Dec.11, 2003 in a local hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Fresno, Calif., former resident of Fayette, Ala. and long-time resident of Brewton. She was a member of Brewton First Baptist Church and a retired clerk from Escambia County Agriculture Extension Office with 35 years service.
She is survived by four sons, Steve Franco of Woodbridge, Va., Don Williamson and Karl Williamson, both of Brewton and Bill Williamson of Texas; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. John Finklea, Rev. Jack Fitts and Rev. Ron Headley officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
