The Brewton Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Friday, Dec. 19 on E. Jackson St.
When police arrived at the scene, there had been an apparent altercation between three men -- Randall Fountain, Ricardo Spears, and Terry Samuel, according to Brewton police chief David Lovelace.
Spears was shot once in the arm, and Samuel was shot once in the back.
Both injured men were transported to D.W. McMillan Hospital, and then Samuel was transported to Pensacola, Lovelace said.
