Lewis Tyrell "Teddy" Stallworth

Mr. Lewis Tyrell "Teddy" Stallworth, 47, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003 in Mobile County. He was a native of Atmore and a resident of Mt. Vernon for a few years. He was self-employed as a construction worker and he served in the U.S. Army 1975-1977. He was preceded in death by his mother, Avila Stallworth-Craig.
He is survived by a son, Lewis Cameron Stallworth of Grand Bay; four sisters, Edith Hayes of Jacksonville, Fla. and Phecedia Craig, Kelly Craig and Sara Craig, all of Shreveport, La. and three brothers, Ellis Stallworth of Atmore and Kurtis Craig and Brent Craig, both of Shreveport.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. at Gaines Chapel AME Church in Atmore with Rev. A. Timothy Days officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
