Mr. Authurly "Joe Bill" Redmon, 81, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, in a local nursing facility. He was a native of Wilcox County and had lived in the Brewton area for most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Bell Redmon; his wife, Lillie Bell Redmon; three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by four daughters, Katie Ball, Carrie Smith, Leola Shofford and Dianne Henry, all of Brewton; three sisters, Essie Mae McCants of Brewton, Opa Lee Dixon of Birmingham and Ezzie Lee Sheppard of Frost Proof, Fla. and a host of other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 11 a.m. at Second St. Siloam Baptist Church with Rev. W.J. Blue officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-
