Mrs. Juanetta Roberts, 67, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004 in Bratt. She was a native of Leoma, Tenn. and a resident of Bratt for the past 31 years. She was a member of Bratt Assembly of God Church, the W.M. Church Club, and had been an employee of Atmore Ambulance Service and an employee of the Creek Bingo Palace for 19 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Roberts.
She is survived by four sons, Marc Evan Roberts of Los Angeles, Calif., Richard A. Roberts of Atmore, Stormy Roberts of Dawsonville, Ga. and Charles Christopher Roberts of Pace, Fla.; three daughters, Cynthia Padgett of Pace, Dodi Smith of Bratt and Wendy Phillips of Atmore; three brothers, C.W. Currie of Saraland, Hershel Currie of Columbia, Tenn. and Rex Wall Currie of Eight Mile; a sister, JoAnn Shanks of Auburn; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 6, at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Theron Collinsworth officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rick Roberts, Stormy Roberts, Chuck Roberts, Shane Bethea, Bill Roberts and Frank Jaye.
