Mrs. Mattie Elizabeth Lawson, 74, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004 at her residence. She was a native of Brewton.
She is survived by a son, Ronnie L. Sanderson of Pensacola, Fla.; a daughter, Jacquie Lawson of Gulfport, Miss.; her sisters, Freddie Knotts of Flomaton, Emma Lou Harrison of Houston, Texas and Margie Dantzler and Charlyn Brandt, both of Uriah; two special aunts, Lois Steele of Brewton and Neva Godwin of Pensacola; two grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be held Saturday, Jan. 17, at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness on Wolf Log Road, Flomaton. Trahan Mortuary Services, Inc. of Pensacola was in charge of arrangements.
