T.R. Miller High School golfer Tripp Owens earned a second place finish during the holiday break at the Tom Dorsey Winter Classic held at the Pensacola Country Club December 29.
Owens had a round of 75 and finished two strokes behind winner Martin Bunt of Pensacola, who fired a 73.
The event is sponsored by the Greater Pensacola Junior Golf Association to honor Dorsey for his major role in the creation and organization of the GPJGA.
