Mrs. Victoria Shannon Pierre, 44, of Century died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004. She was a native of Century and had lived most of her life there. She was a homemaker and a Jehovah's Witness. She was preceded in death by her mother, Birdie Ann Cash Burkett; a sister, JoAnn Burkett and two brothers, Randy Burkett and Jerry Adkins.
She is survived by her husband, Rick A. Pierre of Century; her father, Buddy Burkett of Jay, Fla.; a son, Wesley Michael Pierre of Century; three daughters, Shannon Lirette of Pensacola, Lisa Lirette of El Paso, Texas and Brigitte Pierre Ward of Atmore; two brothers, Rodney Burkett of Century and Tommy Adkins of Lafayette, La. and one grandson.
Memorial services were held Monday, Jan. 12, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Elder Richard Ash officiating and Craver's Funeral Home directing.
