Brewton will be featured on the Jan. 23 episode of Alabama Public Television's "Alabama @ Work" program for being one of the best small towns in the country.
Lori Cummings, producer and reporter for "Alabama @ Work," visited Brewton in December to interview community leaders and film footage for the show.
Brewton was of interest to Cummings because it was listed for the second time in Norman Crampton's book "100 Best Small Towns in America."
While in Brewton, Cummings interviewed Ted Jennings, mayor of Brewton; Ed Livingston, president of BankTrust; Carol Gordy, CEO of Natural Decorations Inc.; and Kathy McMillan, owner of Book and Bean.
Last fall, "Alabama @ Work" featured NDI in an episode, Gordy said.
Another thing about Brewton that interested Cummings and "Alabama @ Work" is its reputation as one of the richest cities in the country.
The program will air on Alabama Public Television Friday, Jan. 23 at 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 25 at 11 p.m.
After the program airs, it can be viewed on Alabama Public Television's web site at www.aptv.org/aaw.
