Mrs. Miriam Coale Williams, 86, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2004 at the home of her son in Lynn Haven, Fla. She was a native of Brewton and was a resident of Evergreen before returning to Brewton in 1978 and residing here until moving to Pensacola, Fla. in 1998. She was of the Methodist faith and a long time member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Brewton.
She is survived by her husband, A.K. Williams of Pensacola; two sons, Robert Williams of Lynn Haven and James Williams of Pensacola; two brothers, James Coale of Kinston and George Coale of Brewton; one sister, Janie Odom of Brewton; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Eddie Bradley, Charles Coale, Greg Williams, Lee Williams, Dustin Mims and Billy Murphy.
