Mr. John Allen Jackson, 89, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2004. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Jackson; one son, Ronnie Jackson; a sister, Cillar L. Snider and a brother, Edmond Jackson. He was a member of Greater Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Preston Jackson of Brewton and Ben Jackson of Pensacola, Fla.; a daughter, Alline Richardson of Brewton; two sisters, Queen Esther Brazile of Brewton and Eula Williams of Pensacola; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. at Greater Mount Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. J. F. Atkins officiating. Burial followed at Boykin Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
