Mr. Roy H. Periman, 77, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004 at his residence. He was a native of Centralia, Ill. and was a field superintendent with Exxon Oil Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Daphna Ruth Dunbar Periman and two brothers, Earl Periman and Bill Periman.
He is survived by a daughter, Velma Lane of Bloomsdale, Mo.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Betty Wilson of Okeechobee, Fla. and Bonnie Dunn of Phoenix, Ariz. and a brother, James "Tane" Periman of Phoenix.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with Rev. Rusty Pedigo officiating. Burial followed at Hillcrest Cemetery in Centralia with military graveside services and Campbell Funeral Home directing.
