Brewton PD catches suspected pizza thief

Brewton Police Department has made an arrest in a case that took place Sunday, Jan. 25 when a Pizza Pro delivery man was robbed while making a delivery to 609 Rogers Street.
Ben Whitfield received a call from that address and upon arrival, was confronted by two black males.
One of the men drew a gun and demanded the money and the pizza while the other man ran away.
Through an investigation the police were able to arrest Timothy Peterson, a black male, age 19, whose address was listed as 115 Fleming Lane.
The arrest was made Monday, Feb. 16, and Peterson was charged with armed robbery, first degree.
He was accused of robbing the pizza man of one fannie pack, one Nokia cell phone, one cell phone case, one hot pizza bag, $25 in cash and two pizzas.
