Mrs. Marjorie Benton Emmons, 74, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004 at a Santa Rosa County hospital. She was a native of Mobile, and a former resident of Century for the past 59 years.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Emmons of Century; two sons, Larry Odell Emmons of Augusta, Ga. and Thomas Earl Emmons of Manford, Okla.; a daughter, Gwen Cole of St. Louis, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb. 22, at 3 p.m. at the Faith Bible Baptist Church in Bluff Springs, Fla. with Rev. Gene Stokes officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Hutto, Jeremy Bondurant, Phillip Blackwell, Marcus Godwin, Kenny Maher and Cliff Thompson.
