Mrs. Elma Brown McCurdy, 79, of Bay Hill Road, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004 at a local hospital after an extended illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Brewton and was retired from Judy Bond Corporation. She was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Tim McCurdy of Brewton; a brother, Leslie Brown of Brewton, a sister, Hazel Jackson of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. and two granddaughters.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Yuhasz officiating. Burial followed at Brown Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
